Properly Installed windshields do a lot more than keep
the rain out. They play a vital role in the structural
strength of your vehicle.
As a part of the vehicle's structure, the windshield also
plays a part in airbag timing. In a crash, an improperly
installed windshield may cause airbags to deploy too early
or too late. Either way, the safety of the car's occupants
can be greatly compromised. The windshield must also brace
and support the passenger side airbag. If the glass separates
there is no longer an enclosed space for the airbag and
it may be less effective in protecting the occupant.
